| Working Principle. |
The
machine is built on the principle of easy loading & linear
movement of the jars where washing is done in stages. The
jars are loaded in an inverted position on a Stainless
Steel conveyor with a cup for holding the Jar. A spring
sensor is tripped which initiates the machine to start
the washing sequence. |
| |
| The washing cycle is of
4 stages namely |
1st stage Hot water
wash |
2nd stage Hot water wash |
3rd
stage with Normal water after the carbon filter
free of Chlorine. |
4th stage with the final product
water. |
The
1st & 2nd
stage wash is with hot water & detergent or disinfectant
(chlorine Dioxide) from the bottom tank which is recycled
every 2 hours. Stainless Steel pumps are provided to achieve
high pressure wash thru nozzles to clean the inside of the
jars. (Outer cleaning by high pressure wash can also be included
in different models). The time period for the washing sequence
can be adjusted and roughly is taken as 20-25 seconds. After
the 2nd stage the Jar is then subjected to a Normal water
wash (3rd stage) thru a separate Stainless Steel pump and
tank, which uses water which is free from chlorine and preferably
after the carbon filter, for the removal of any detergent
or disinfectant. This water is also recycled water from the
4th stage i.e. the product water and hence saves a lot of
water. |
| |
| |
| |
The
4th and final stage comprises of a final water wash for a period
of 5-10 seconds (time period can be adjusted) where in the
product water is used to achieve a complete clean jar free
from any dirt, detergent, disinfectant or microbes. After draining
the water, the Jar is then inverted and pushed to the filling
station where the sensor starts the filling operation and product
water is filled thru a separate Stainless Steel pump. |
The capping is then automatically
done by a pneumatic header which automatically picks the caps
from the cap bowl provided at the top. You can load upto 50 caps
at a time in the bowl. The machine then pushes the filled jar
outside on a conveyor or trolley. It can be picked up manually
also. |
The
jars are simply loaded inverted on the Stainless Steel conveyor’s plastic cup; the machine
then moves the jar through out all the stages on pneumatic pressure.
The jar is not touched through out the complete cycle. Sensors
are provided at every point & the machine starts each operation
once the Jar is in position for a particular washing stage. Caps
can be loaded in any position in the cap bowl, which are later
sorted accordingly and capping is done automatically once the
Jar is filled. It requires only 2-3 persons for operating this
machine. |

| |
| Comparison between
Manual Jar Washing & This Machine |
| The
Comparison Is Done On The Basis Of 100 Jars Being Washed
In One Hour On A Normal Working Shift Of 8 Hours. |
| |
| |
| |
Manual washing 100 Jars/Hr. |
| |
20 ltrs Jar Machine 100
Jars/Hr. |
| |
Manual washing requires more than 6- 8 workers
for washing the Jars alone. |
Requires only 1 person to load
the Jar onto the machines Conveyor. |
| |
Separate
2-3 workers are required for the Rinsing and Filling of
the Jars.. |
This operation
is completely automatic and Labour free. |
| |
Manual handling (like dropping, throwing,
sliding, etc) of Jars at each point leads to breakage
and less life of the Jars. |
There is absolutely
no manual handling of any jar, as jars move from one stage
to another purely on a Conveyor belt. Hence life of jar increases. |
Manual handling also leads to scratches
and dents on the jar which reduces the look of the
Jar. |
No
chance of scratches or any kind of dents possible during
auto operation and hence enhances the life & looks. |
| |
Wastage
of water is huge and nothing is actually recycled. |
Water
usage is minimal and all water is recycled at every single
stage. |
| |
Washing
over a Time period is not exactly equal as during the
start of the washing process |
As the system is automated the
machine cleans all the jars equally on all counts. |
| |
Cost of labour is huge and
if workers do not report on time there is loss
of production & Revenue |
Cost is
reduced as the unit requires only 3 workers & any
one can opt to do the production, due to
easy operation. |
